Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the acceptable and unacceptable uses of SMB Solutions Cloud Services ("the Company") infrastructure, hosting, and cloud services. Its purpose is to protect the integrity, security, and reliability of our systems while ensuring compliance with Australian law and international best practices. 
 
By using our services, customers ("Users") agree to adhere to this AUP in full. 

This policy applies to all customers, partners, resellers, and users of SMB Solutions Cloud Services. It covers all hosted infrastructure, virtual machines, applications, and network services operated or managed by SMB Solutions Cloud Services, and all data stored, transmitted, or processed using our platforms.

Users must: 

• Use services in accordance with all applicable laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Spam Act 2003 (Cth), and relevant Australian Consumer Law. 

• Maintain confidentiality of all credentials. 

• Implement security measures such as patching, encryption, and access controls. 

• Ensure third parties also comply with this AUP. 

• Report misuse or breaches promptly. 

Users must not use SMB Solutions Cloud Services to: 

• Engage in illegal activities, fraud, or copyright infringement. 

• Attempt unauthorised access or distribute malware. 

• Send spam or unsolicited communications. 

• Host offensive or harmful content. 

• Misuse or overconsume system resources. 

Users are responsible for maintaining security by updating systems, using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), encrypting data, and complying with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). SMB Solutions Cloud Services monitors systems for performance, security, and compliance. 

SMB Solutions Cloud Services may investigate potential violations, suspend or terminate services, or notify authorities. Where possible, users will be notified before action is taken.

This policy is reviewed annually or when legal, operational, or service changes occur.

Use of SMB Solutions Cloud Services constitutes acceptance of this policy. Violations may lead to suspension, termination, or legal action.
