With the pandemic still present but taking a back seat, 2022 was the year for recovery and revival. The SMB Solutions Cloud Services team had lots of highs, a few lows, and lessons learned.

Before we kick off into the new year, we like to take a look back at the year that was!

Highlights Over the Year 2022

January

Our Sydney data centre’s new $250k server equipment upgrade was successful. Learn more about it here.

February

Internal ticketing system improvements are successful; updating the categories and sub-issues to be more specific, streamlined and easier for customer use.

May

Richard and Liam attended the SMB Innovation Summitt in Florida, USA. The SMB Innovation Summit offers partners and SAP users the perfect opportunity to gather unique insights from many of the key figures who empower the SAP Business One Platform throughout the region.

June

Richard and colleagues attended the SMB Innovation Summitt in Manila, Philippines.

August

The SAP Business One Community Page launched with the skilled SMB Solutions team to back it. The SAP Business One Community is an independently built and managed community for the benefit of customers and partners. The overarching goal of the community is to share knowledge and to enable SAP Business One users, with more than 75, 000+ customers around the world, to make the most from their investment in the SAP Business One ERP solution.

November

Mandatory Duo 2FA rollout completed for all partners and customers worldwide. Duo improves security by providing secure sign-on capabilities with easy usability. Duo offers a well-designed user interface that minimizes disruption to usability while making account management accessible and user-friendly. This makes it easy for users and administrators to use Duo without disrupting existing workflows.

This year we expanded to more countries than ever before, including the Philippines, Italy, Denmark, the USA and Mexico, on top of Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia.

We also continually improved our cloud environment with gold-standard cybersecurity practices and the insurance to go with it. Cybersecurity is our number one priority, and this year, we tightened up the screws as we saw colleagues and businesses affected worldwide by the rise in cyberattacks.

Looking Forward to 2023

Improved security, improved protection, and improved equipment across a global network – 2023 is looking to be a promising year for SMB Solutions Cloud Services customers, partners and team!
