Patch Level Two is officially out – find out if you should upgrade your deployment.

SAPs Early Adopter program has officially finished its first launch round for SAP Business One Version 10. The program has been in effect since November 2019 and has already improved the SAP Business One experience for a large number of users.

SAP Business One Version 10 unifies the user experience for SAP users and streamlines complex workflows. From interactive Gantt charts to seamless Office 365 integration, there are countless ways organisations can leverage SAP’s new technology to make their processes more productive and efficient.

Until now, early adopters have been using the very first public release patch for SAPs new software. As expected, there were obstacles to overcome. Early adopters played an important role in helping SAP identify and resolve bugs and identified business-critical features and compatibilities to be included in the final release. SAP Business One Version 10’s final release is still some distance away, but some users will not have to wait until the final patch is released. It is most likely that your SAP Business One instance and use case is perfectly compatible with the second patch.

Patch Level Two Brings Stability and Performance Improvements to the SAP B1 Experience

SAP Business One Version 10’s Patch Level 1 resolved a host of usability and compatibility issues. The company’s Patch Level 2 expands on these developments and adds extensions for some of the most useful features businesses rely on every day. To find out exactly how each patch level has improved the scope and capabilities of SAP’s new solution, you can view the full changelog here.

Several updates were made to SAPs web client functionality, and its sales and purchasing features. Platform and extensibility changes include support for the following:

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2019
  • SQL View Exposure in OData V3/v4 Protocol for the Service Layer
  • Configuration Controller for the Service Layer
  • API Gateways with a one-time authentication to access Crystal Reports
  • SAP Crystal Reports 2016 SP7
